This privacy policy applies to the Private Anaesthesia Companion (PAC) iOS application.

Overview

PAC is designed to support private anaesthetic practice through locally stored tools, records, and calculations. PAC does not require user accounts and does not collect personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Collection and Storage

PAC primarily stores data locally on your device. This may include:

• Case notes and practice-related records

• Configuration settings and preferences

• Calculation inputs and results

No data is transmitted to the developer by default.

iCloud Backup and Sync

If enabled by the user, PAC may store app data in Apple iCloud to allow backup and synchronisation across devices. iCloud data is encrypted and managed by Apple. The developer does not have access to this data.

iCloud usage is optional and can be disabled via device settings.

Analytics and Diagnostics

PAC does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not track users across apps or websites. Limited, anonymous diagnostic information may be provided by Apple to assist with app stability and performance.

Data Sharing

PAC does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Retention

All data remains on your device or within your iCloud account unless you choose to delete it. You may remove all data at any time by deleting the app or using available in-app reset options.

Professional Use Disclaimer

PAC is intended as a professional support tool and does not replace clinical judgement or institutional policies.
